Degrees and Certifications:
Mrs. Mia Etim
Welcome to Mrs. Etim's Intervention Classroom!
My name is Mia Etim, and I am one of the intervention teachers at Jackson Elementary. This is my sixth year at Jackson in the intervention position and my eighth year in District 6. I graduated with a BA in Elementary Education with a minor in visual art from the University of Northern Colorado in 2012. I love being an interventionist because I get to work with so many students throughout the school and help them feel successful in their education. This year, I will teach reading and math to first and fourth grade, as well as reading to fifth grade.
I am married and a mother to five kids. My oldest two boys attend Brentwood Middle School, my daughter attends Jackson Elementary, and I have boy/girl twins who will be two in November. I enjoy being outdoors, watching my kids play sports, watching movies, going to concerts, and watching the Denver Broncos! My favorite color is purple, and my favorite food is pizza!
I am looking forward to teaching your children and having another wonderful school year at Jackson. It's a great place to be!
