Ms. Wikoff

Welcome to 2nd grade!

I am so excited to be at Shawsheen again this year!  I have been in our district my entire teaching career - 25 years!  I have taught 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades at Jackson and Winograd, as well as an Instructional Math Coach for our district.  I have learned so much from all the wonderful teachers we have in our district and I am excited to share what I have learned with your children this year!

I have 2 teenagers living with me!  My son is 18 years old and beginning his college degree in North Carolina and my daughter is a 16 year old Junior at Greeley Central!  I love them with all my heart!  I also have 2 dogs named Lady and Joey as well as a cat named Squirrley.  They are all adopted pets!  Between my teenagers and my pets I am plenty busy!  I enjoy crafting with friends when I can.

I have lived in Colorado all my life.  I grew up in Westminster and then moved to Greeley when I attended UNC.  My first teaching position landed me here in Greeley and I haven't left!  I have my Masters degree in Reading Education from UNC.

I look forward to working beside you this year as we work together with your child.

Warmly,
Roslyn Wikoff

Websites you might want to visit:
http://gonoodle.com This is a website that helps kiddos get their wiggles out and also helps them calm down!

http://www.zearn.org    This is the site we use in class to complete our math instruction.  Your child can complete lessons at home - just make sure if your child completes a "Math Chat" they take notes on paper and bring them to school.

Ask Ms. Wikoff for a personalized link to connect with your child's ClassDoJo account to get reminders about school happenings and see how your child is doing in class everyday!   This will be how we can communicate during the school year as well!
