Assistant Principal

I am so excited to begin my seventh year as assistant principal at Brentwood! This is my 23rd year in education,15 of those years have been spent in District 6. I love this community and strive every day to make it the best place to be in CO! 

I grew up on a small family farm in rural North Dakota. I graduated from Mayville State University in ND with a B.S. in Elementary Education. I returned to graduate school here at UNC and received my Master's in Educational Leadership. Most of my years teaching have been at the elementary level, and I am thrilled to share that knowledge and bring a different perspective to middle school here at Brentwood. 

When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family (Ashton - graduate of Greeley Central and starting his senior year at UNC and Lincoln - also a graduate at Greeley Central and starting his first year at UNC), playing BASKETBALL, hiking, gardening, and reading. If you haven't had the chance to stop in and see what Brentwood is all about, I encourage you to do so!
