From the NHS website:
The National Honor Society is an organization that represents high achieving students that not only are on honor roll, but who are role models and leaders in high school. NHS students demonstrate outstanding efforts in community, scholarship, leadership and one's character.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Invitation in 10th or 11th grade
- Maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA
- 9 hrs / semester of community volunteering
Types of Programs Sponsored:
- Fundraisers
- Tutoring
- Induction Ceremony
