Mrs. Laura Knudsen-Weimer

This is Knudsen's seventh year teaching art at Greeley West high school. She graduated from Thornton high school in 2002 and went on to the University of Northern Colorado to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Art with a concentration in Graphic Design and a minor in coaching. She returned to UNC for her post-baccalaureate in K-12 teaching. In 2015, she earned her Master's Degree in Art Education. 

Mrs. Knudsen enjoys spending time with her husband Kurt, daughter, and son. Mrs. Knudsen is a huge fan of soccer and has played and coached at a variety of levels. One of her bucket list goals is to see a Women's world cup. Other loves of Mrs. Knudsen are gardening, crocheting and knitting, fibers, painting, drawing, (really any kind of art) playing with her kids, and being out in nature.
