Brittney Buck

CLD Teacher

Brittany's journey to Franklin began back in Wisconsin, where she is originally from. She went to school in Madison Wi at Edgewood College, where she received her Bachelor's Degree in Art Therapy and Psychology. Her previous teaching experience was in Art. She taught many different mediums and has worked with every age demographic. After teaching art in Wisconsin for 6 years, her life was pulling her in another direction. The west to be exact-here in Colorado. After wanting to pursue a life here for quite some time, she decided to grab her cat, pack up her car and move here from across the country. Having now been in Colorado for almost two years, she has settled into her first year teaching English at Franklin Middle School. She has enjoyed every experience and connection with students she has been able to make thus far.

When she is not teaching she can be found painting, reading, collecting/listening to vinyl records, or enjoying anything outdoors. Her partner Ryan, two cats (Floyd & Bijou) and dog (Bandit) are her partners in adventure. She feels lucky to live in such a beautiful state and tries to embrace all the experiences it has to offer.
