Ms. Jennifer Marshall

6th Grade Language Arts

Hi there, this is my fifth year here at Franklin Middle School; however, I have been teaching middle school in the district for 8 years. I went to college here in Greeley at UNC and graduated with a bachelors in English, emphasis in Secondary Education and an ESL endorsement. I also have my masters in Curriculum and Instruction from Western Governors University. I am passionate about my job and I strive to have great relationships with all of my students as well as encourage them to strive for high-achieving goals. My biggest belief is hard work and persistence will result in achieving or exceeding those goals and if you “shoot for the moon, you will land among the stars.” When I am not teaching English, I run a girls club called Lovely Leading Ladies and I am the head track coach. I always knew I wanted to be a teacher and this truly is my “dream job.” Outside of Franklin, I am a Colorado native and I love to do all things “Colorado;” camping, hiking, fishing, backpacking, Rockies and Broncos games, skiing/snowboarding, etc. I am also a reader and love mysteries and thrillers. I live in Fort Collins with my partner Austin and our two fur babies-Ryker and Charlie. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with questions or concerns--I am eager to listen and do whatever it takes to provide the best middle school experience for your 6th grader.
