Frances Staubitz

Frances Staubitz is in her ninth year with Greeley District 6 and her second year at Franklin Middle School as a Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Teacher. Frances has predominantly served as an Instructional Coach with our district and continues to guide academic practices in the classroom to enhance and accelerate student achievement.

 

Mrs. Staubitz grew up in New Jersey and attended college in Boston, Massachusetts, she has a B.A. in English.  After graduating college, Frances served as a United States Peace Corps Volunteer in the former Soviet Union, in the country of Latvia.  Frances then returned to the United States and attended graduate school in Chicago.  She received her Master's in teaching, Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Endorsement, and Language Arts Endorsement.  She is also highly qualified in Social Studies.  Mrs. Staubitz then attended the post-graduate Leadership Program with the University of Northern Colorado and received her Education Specialist Degree and  Principal Licensure.

 

Frances continues to serve on the Professional Development Council for Greeley District 6 and as a Multi-Tiered System of Supports Lead.  Currently, she supports the J.V. and Varsity Franklin football teams as a chain volunteer.

 

During her free time, Frances enjoys paddle boarding and hiking in our beautiful state of Colorado.
