5th Grade

The fifth grade team is excited and looking forward to a terrific year of learning at Bella Romero Academy!  The students will be studying fractions, decimals and percents, measurement, multiplication, division, and fact fluency in math.  Critical and independent thinking, comprehension and vocabulary will be the focus in reading.  For writing, the students will be working hard in writing better answers to questions and prompts.  The students will learn many new concepts in science and social studies:  the Scientific Method in science and the Civil War in Social Studies, to name a few.  All in all, we will have a very interesting year of learning!
