Dr. Angie McDowell
Dear Parents and Guardians,
It is with great pride that I write this letter of introduction to you as the newly appointed Principal of Centennial Elementary School. I feel honored to have the opportunity to lead a performance school with such diversity! I have been dedicated to the field of education for more than eighteen years: 5 years as a special education teacher, 4 years as a classroom teacher for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades, and 9 years as an assistant principal. I am excited to work with you as a partner in education to ensure your child's success.
It is my priority to continue to keep our school safe and to ensure the joy of learning is evident in each classroom. I will work hard to continue the success of all students by building strong relationships with parents, students, and community partners. Along with the teachers and staff, we will make learning fun, engage all students, and provide rigorous instruction by creating strong routines and procedures. We will ensure all students are learning and growing through use of co-teaching, inclusion, and weekly data meetings.
I would love to receive your input and ideas as I begin planning for the upcoming school year. Here are some ways to share your ideas on what we can do to make Centennial even better for our students.
- Email your ideas: email@example.com
- Call me at (970) 348-1110
- Stop by during Back to School Night on Tuesday, August 13 from 4-6 pm
I look forward to working with you as a team to help all students at Centennial Elementary meet their goals and be successful!
Angie McDowell, Ed. D.
