Assistant Principal

Katie MacTaggart is one of the Assistant Principals and Athletic Director at Franklin Middle School. MacTaggart, formerly known as Obal, taught 6th and 7th grade social studies and coached volleyball at FMS from 2015-2019. MacTaggart then became an Instructional Coach for the district where she supported all D6 elementary schools, and Heath Middle School. In 2021, MacTaggart came home to Franklin to join the administration team and to make a positive difference in the lives of the Franklin scholars.
