• What to Expect in 6th Grade

6th Graders can expect a 6 period school day.  All 6th grade students will be enrolled in a core math, language arts, science and social studies. Students will also be enrolled in a Projects class for each of their core math, language arts, science and social studies. This will be apart of our new learning module Summit Personalized Learning Program.

Students have a choice in two elective classes each quarter. Examples of elective classes are a year long music, orchestra, band, and AVID. There will be quarter long options of Technology, Art, Speech & Drama, and Physical Education.  6th graders should come prepared to work and exemplify our acronym POWER. Come prepared to show Pride, Owndership, Work, Empathy and Respect in all that you do.
