Greetings Madison Families!

My name is Steve Isenhour and I'm blessed to be the Principal of Madison Elementary, and soon to be James Madison STEAM Academy.

My joy and mission is to help our scholars see their unlimited potential to achieve anything they put their minds to.  Our scholars, many of whom are fluent in two or three languages, are so incredibly intelligent, yet lack the confidence to demonstrate just how much they know.  It is an absolute pleasure to help them take ownership of their learning and gain the confidence to thrive academically and socially.

When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family. Our son graduated from the University of Colorado in Boulder with a dual major in Business.  He is currently employed with FORTA, a technology company, and is also training to compete in the 2028 Olympics in Weightlifting.  His wife, a graduate of Denver University, is a professional soccer goalie for the Angel City Football Club in Los Angeles.  My wife, also an educator, works in the field of Gifted Education.  We love being active: horseback riding, hiking, cycling and taking walks with our German Shepherd.

I look forward to an amazing year, one filled with so many possibilities for our scholars.
