8th Grade Science

Hello Panther Families,

My Name is Rob Bailey, and I teach 8th Grade Science. I am an assitant coach for the 8th grade football team at Heath. I am very excited to be at Heath this year, as “Heath is the place to be”. I am originally from Indiana, I graduated from Vincennes University with an Associates degree in Conservation law Enforcement, I then received a Bachelor’s degree from Ball State University in Land Resource Management. For the last 20 years, I worked in the live event audio visual world as an Operations Manager. A few years ago, I went back to school to the University of Northern Colorado and received a 2nd Bachelor’s degree in Earth Science, Secondary Education.

Away from school, I am married and have two children, 13 and 8. My Wife is an English Professor at UNC and teaches new English teachers. I enjoy Hunting, shooting sports (trap, skeet, sporting clays, competition) fishing, camping and other outdoor sports. I am a NRA firearms instructor. I was a Cub Scout and Bot Scout as a kid and I now volunteer as a Scoutmaster for Troop 809, Based out of the Elks Lodge in Greeley.

I firmly believe students learn best from their mistakes and they will have a safe environment to fail over and over.

Thank you,

Mr. Bailey
