My name is Karen Giesler and I have taught at Prairie Heights since 2019.  Currently, I teach 7th grade Integrated Science and I am a 7th grade SDL/Mentor Teacher.  Prior to teaching at Prairie Heights, I taught Pre-AP Biology, Cellular Biology, Genetics and Biotechnology at Fossil Ridge High School in Fort Collins.  There are many things I love about teaching at Prairie Heights: the students are kind and hard-working, the teachers really care about making a difference and the school has a great community feel.  In my free time, I'm an avid runner and hiker.  I also enjoy movies and trying new restaurants.
