Hola Hola Coca-Cola! My name is Jason Garcia and I teach 7th grade science. I have been teaching at John Evans/Prairie Heights for 10 years now. I received my Bachelors of Science with an emphasis in Athletic Training and a minor in Coaching from the University of Northern Colorado. I then went to CSU to earn my Masters in Secondary Education. I have been married for 22 years to my wife Becky and we have 2 kids. My son is getting ready to go off to Norwich University in Vermont to study Architecture and my daughter is entering 7th grade at Severance Middle School. I have been the boys basketball coach for 10 years at PHMS and absolutely love watching players develop their skills before heading off to High School and its always a blast to win a championship along the way. In my free time I like bike riding, camping, paddleboarding, tae kwon do, playing my ukulele and taking vacations to Maine where my wife grew up. I can't imagine working anywhere else; being a Hawk is the absolute best and I'm looking forward to another great school year! Go Hawks, Vamos Halcones!
