Hello Hawks! My name is Rachel Thron and I teach 8th grade Integrated Science. This is my 18th year of teaching and my 11th year at Prairie Heights/John Evans! I am from Wisconsin (you betcha this makes me a cheesehead!), and also lived in Indiana, Utah, and Nebraska before finally calling Colorado home. I love science, a good pun, green chili, and exploring new places. When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two adult kiddos, playing with my dog Arlo, recreating outdoors, and traveling. I am proud to be a Hawk and am excited for this school year! It is going to be great! Go Hawks!
