Degrees and Certifications:
Ms. Elizabeth Adler
I am at Meeker Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and the first half of the day on Fridays and would be happy to answer your questions or assist at any time. I spend the other half of the week as the school psychologist at Universty Schools. You may stop by my office at Meeker or call at your convenience. I also check email frequently and since I am not always in my office, that is the most efficient way to get in touch with me. This is my 22nd year as a school psychologist in Colorado, my third year working in Greeley School Disrtrict 6, and my first at Meeker. I am excited to be working with Meeker staff and students as they learn about the concepts from The Leader in Me, which fits very well into the goals of school psychologists who also promote the empowerment of students and families to be leaders in their own lives.
I graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with my Specialist degree in school psychology. As far as my role at Meeker, I view myslef as an advocate for children and families. I collaborate with school staff and families in developing plans that offer educational supports and/or services necassary for students to be successful in school. I am available to answer any questions you might have about a variety of supports available for students who are experiencing difficulties. I also provide direct services to students in either individual or group settings. Some examples of services provided include: anger management, coping with stress/anxiety, relaxation training, and social skills development. I really enjoy working with a variety of students and I'm dedicated to improving outcomes for all students. If you ever have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to call or email.
