Welcome!

My name is Heather Plantt and I am thrilled to be your child’s teacher for the 2023-2024 school year. There are so many new and exciting things your child will learn in second grade. They will grow as readers, writers, mathematicians, and thinkers. Let’s enjoy the journey together!

About Me

This is my 11th year teaching at McAuliffe. I have taught kindergarten and 2nd grade, but 2nd grade is truly the best! I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, and a Master’s in Educational Psychology. My husband, Mr. Plantt, also works at McAuliffe as our 6-8 STEM teacher. We have an (almost) 4 year old daughter, 2 dogs and a cat. I love baking, coffee, and spending time with my sweet family!
