Ms. Katrina Vining
Welcome to speech-language therapy!
I am looking forward to working with your student on their speech and language goals. This is my fourth year at Jackson Elementary and I will be in the building on Wednesdays, Fridays, and some Thursdays.
I began my career in education as a special education teacher in Utah and Virginia. I went back to school to become a speech-language pathologist. I have worked with children from ages 3 through 21 with a variety of special needs. I am licensed in the state of Colorado as a teacher with endorsements in Special Education, Elementary Education, and Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education and as a Special Services Provider/School Speech-Language Pathologist. I hold my Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
My family moved to Colorado in September 2001. I live in Fort Collins with my three young adult children (Megan, 22; Rachel, 19; and David, 17). We currently share our home with two dogs, two sugar gliders, one rat, and one frog.
I look forward to meeting with you to discuss your child's goals and progress. You may also contact me through email or phone.
