Degrees and Certifications:
My name is Stephanie Kubala. I was born in Denver, Colorado and grew up in Golden, Colorado. My family members are my husband Edward and my Husky puppy, Maka. I recently got married in my hometown last year in October. I moved to Northern Colorado in 2015 to attend the University of Northern Colorado. In May, I graduated with my Bachelors in Special Education. I completed my practicum and student teaching in a resource teacher position, as well as an Intensive Autism Classroom. As of August 2019, I began my masters program for Special Education: Intervention Specialist: Academic Leadership. I love learning!
I enjoy running, climbing, hiking, drawing, painting, reading, and spending time with my family. My father is a sports writer for the Denver Post and my mother is a registered nurse. My parents are amazing role models. Growing up, I was given many opportunities to read many times throughout the day. I want to empower little readers to find their own joy in reading. As I mentioned, I have a passion for literacy and inclusion for all students. My teaching philosophy is as quoted by my great-aunt, Sister Joanne Marie Kleibhan, "All children can learn, if we can learn how to teach them." I truly believe that if we can learn how each student learns and acccess information, we can support them more effectively in every academic and social setting.
This is my first year teaching. I am so excited! I am co-teaching second and fourth grade with a wonderful team. If you have any questions, please let me know. I check my email frequently. If you have the Bloomz App, you can contact me through there as well. The class code is; M9K4GQ. I look forward to meeting everyone!
