Mrs. Jessica Fernandez

I am the Maplewood School Social Worker, and I'm excited about another great year as a Maplewood Mustang! I have worked in the Greeley-Evans School District since 2009, and I jumped at the opportunity to work with Maplewood staff and students fulltime because of the welcoming environment and shared goal of helping all students succeed.

I help connect families and students to resources within the community as well as providing small group work, or individual student check-ins, to the students during the school day while they're at the school. I am a Greeley native and graduated from Greeley Central High School. I completed my bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Colorado in Boulder, Go Buffs! Later, I completed my master's degree in social work with Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, Texas, Go Saints! My family includes my loving husband, our daughter, and our son.
