Bachelors Degree Elementary Education

Ms. Antonia Fornaro

Hello! My name is Antonia Fornaro!

I was born and raised in Colorado and have wanted to be a teacher since I was 6. I grew up in Highlands Ranch and went to school here in Greeley at the University of Northern Colorado & graduated in December 2019. I received my Licensure in Elementary Education with a concentration in Special Education. I also completed my Masters's Degree in Teaching Diverse Learners which is a dual endorsement in Special Education and Cultural Linguistic Diversity.  This is my 5th year of teaching. I have taught both 3rd and 4th grade, and love both grades for different reasons!   Teaching is truly my biggest passion and my greatest dream. It is something I have always wanted. My goals as an educator are to inspire a love for learning through creativity, self-advocacy, and a growth mindset. I believe everyone is able to be successful and achieve greatness as long as we are always willing to better ourselves as people & learners. If we always try our best, grow from our mistakes, and believe we can do it, anything is possible.

Some of my favorite things to do are going on a long drive through the mountains, eating all different kinds of unique foods from different cultures, traveling around the country and world, and, of course, having time to snuggle up with a good book, watch a movie, or just relax. I also have two dogs. Ladybug & Winston are (in my opinion) the cutest and sweetest dogs in the world.

I am very excited about the opportunity to work with some AMAZING 3rd-grade students. I know this year will be full of great opportunities for learning and growth for both myself and my students!
