    Multi-Language Access The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has advised communities to prepare for a domestic outbreak of COVID-19, commonly known as the coronavirus.  Greeley-Evans School District 6 is working closely with local, state and national health officials to monitor the coronavirus health issue and will provide additional information as it becomes available.

  • Updates and Protocols for the Class of 2020 Graduation Ceremonies

    We are excited to announce that we are moving forward with in-person graduations at the end of July and beginning of August for Early College Academy, Jefferson High School, Northridge High School, Greeley Central High School, and Greeley West High School. We have been working with the Weld County Department of Public Health to develop a plan to safely host these in-person graduations to provide the graduation ceremonies that the Class of 2020 deserves.

  • Reopening Schools Plan for the 2020-2021 School Year

    "My staff and I have been busy planning for the next school year. The good news is, we are planning to open schools in August for all students! We heard clearly from those of you who answered our parent survey that this is the desire of most parents, and we are working hard with local and state health officials to draw up a plan for the safe return to in-person learning. This plan also includes a remote online learning option for those families who need it." - Dr. Deirdre Pilch, Superintendent

  • Student-Athlete In-Person Practices

    Starting Monday, June 8, student-athletes and coaches in District 6 will be allowed to return to in person contact for athletics. Activities will be conducted under strict COVID 19 physical distancing and health guidelines.Click on this headline for more information!

  • Mental Health Services and Supports

    Families and students who need additional social and emotional supports during the outbreak of COVID-19 and remote learning can find resources on a new webpage dedicated to providing resources and assistance, including mental health services, crisis resources and information parents and guardians can use at home to help children during this uncertain time.

  • District 6 School Kickoff event cancelled; sponsors needed

    Due to the outbreak of COVID-19 and health concerns regarding large gatherings, the annual School Kickoff Community Celebration scheduled for August 8, 2020 at Island Grove Regional Park is cancelled. Free backpacks and school supplies will still be distributed through schools this year for students in need. Sponsors who have remained committed to this event and backpack distribution will pay for the backpacks, school supplies, and shipping and distribution costs.
