A Message from Superintendent Dr. Deirdre Pilch

  • Thank you again for your hard work during the 2021-2022 school year.  I am proud of how our District 6 staff continue to meet challenges to serve our students.

The situation around COVID-19 is constantly evolving. Please review the complete Safe Return to School. We appreciate your flexibility and patience as we move through reopening schools together.

We are doing everything possible to keep you and our students safe and healthy, and are working closely with state and county health officials to get guidance on best practices. Properly won facial masks are strongly recommended for all unvaccinated students and staff. Students and staff who are not vaccinated but who properly wear masks while indoors will not be required to quarantine if they are exposed to someone with COVID-19. Masks will be optional for fully vaccinated students and staff. District 6 fully supports a person's choice to wear a mask regardless of their vaccine status. Those fully vaccinated will not be required to quarantine if exposed to someone with COVID-19.

We are excited to have students back and learning in our school in August! If you have any questions about this plan, please reach out to your principal or supervisor.

    Deirdre Pilch
