I'm Julie Ratliff.  I love Northern Colorado and have lived here most of my life.  I went to college at Hastings College in Hastings, Nebraska but couldn't stay away for long.  Maybe it's because my family has lived in Northern Colorado for over 150 years.  After graduating with a double major in Marketing and History I spent several years working in the insurance industry before I decided to go back to school and get my teaching certificate.  I graduated with my master's degree in teaching from the University of Northern Colorado in 2015.  

This year will be my 7th year teaching in District 6.  Not only am I a teacher at Monfort, but I am lucky to have been a member of the Monfort family for almost 10 years as a parent.  I have two daughters, one will be an 8th grader at Brentwood Middle School and one will be right down the hall in 5th grade.  My family has loved every moment of being a Monfort Trailblazer.  It is a very, very special place and the teachers and administrators are amazing.  My husband, Ben, is a District 6 graduate and a partner in a local CPA firm.
