Hey Christa McAuliffe Families!

I grew up just north of Colorado Springs in Monument Colorado, and attended the University of Northern Colorado after graduating from Lewis Palmer High School in 2006. At UNC I studied history education and fell in love with teaching middle school! My wife Allie and I both spent 9 years teaching in rural Colorado, but we could not be more excited to be back in the front range, and in the town that my wife grew up in! (She was even a silver falcon herself!)

When we are not teaching in the classroom we love spending time with our two sons, Cameron is 8 and Carter is 5. The family loves to ski and enjoy the great outdoors in our beautiful state!

Social Studies at McAulliffe is going to be a blast this year! We are going to travel the globe while learning about world geography, and then travel through time as we learn about the great civilizations of the Eastern Hemisphere! All in the name of becoming responsible global citizens!

We are going to become cartographers, archaeologists and even meteorologists along the way! I can’t wait to get started!
