Hi and Welcome to 1st grade.  I am so excited to be here at Meeker Elementary.  I have been a teacher since 2009 as a Kindergarten teacher at Centennial Elementary here in town. this is my 2nd year at Meeker.  We have so many great things to learn in 1st grade and I cant wait to see the growth that we make as a class this year.  I have two daughters that are both in college now.  My oldest is in Nebraska at Chadron state and is a Senior and my youngest is at Amies Commuity college in Greeley as a sophmore.  I love them very much.  I also have two dogs one is  Talia and she goes to college with my oldest daughter and Azzy Jae is at home with my youngest and me. I also have a cat Zygedo that lives at home with me as well :) I look forward to getting to know all of you. 

We use The Leader in Me curriculum as a school wide behavior system as well as sitting is STAR and walking In HALLS

Reading homework will be sent home every night with the expectation that it is turned in the next morning.  

I will be using Class DOJO this year to comunicate with parents so please be on the lookout for the text/email that it sends you.
