Mrs. Melissa Agripino
Melissa Agripino has been an educator in special education with the Greeley/Evans School District for 21 years. This is her 10th year of teaching students at S. Christa McAuliffe Stem Academy. She is a double graduate of Northern Colorado and has a degree from Purdue University in Indiana. She has received the UNC Educator of the Month awarded by Noble Energy for making a difference in the lives of our children. She was also nominated for the Success Foundation Educator of the Year in the 2023-2024 academic school year.
Melissa begins and ends each day with a smile and a hug for each of her students, whom she considers her inspiration. She encourages her students to face all challenges with a strong heart, a strong mind, a strong perseverance and most importantly a smile that can brighten even the toughest of days. She considers herself blessed to share in the moments and achievements of her students.
Melissa is a wife, mother of six children, and grandmother of three beautiful girls and one grandson. Family has always been very important to her and she pours her heart and energy into building a solid foundation of love and joy into those around her. She often spends her time gathering family and friends together for a home cooked meal, dabbing in photography; as well as writing and blogging. She aspires to one day become a children’s book author.
