Helen Barber

I am originally from New Mexico, where I received my bachelors degree in Music Education from the University of New Mexico. I started officially teaching in 2020, with experience prior to that in general music, sectionals, and private lessons. Growing up I could never get enough music! I started on the piano, but quickly joined band, choir, show choir, bell choir, marching band, a cappella choir, and the symphony orchestra in my area. My main instrument now is the french horn, which will always hold a special place in my heart (particularly on the up beats)! I am passionate about students and their growth, and firmly believe that music is accessible to everyone. I am here to serve Bella’s whole family.
