Mr. Azari is the orchestra director at Greeley Central High School & Franklin Middle School. He started his music career as a violist/violinist and has performed as a soloist, a member of various small ensembles, and with several orchestras including the Greeley Philharmonic, Cheyenne Symphony, Ft. Collins Symphony, the Greeley Chamber Orchestra and several renowned artists including Crystal Gayle and Manhatten Transfer. The orchestra program at GCHS has an active performance schedule including periodic tours away from school--the orchestra has traveled to New York City, Los Angeles and to Europe five times performing in Dublin, Paris, Rome, Germany, and the Czech Republic. The GCHS Symphony Orchestra was showcased at the Colorado Music Educator's Conference in 2000 as one of the finest orchestras in the state.
