Hello! My name is Thomas Nelson and I am one of our High School History teachers. This will be my third year in District 6 and fifth year teaching overall. 

I graduated with a degree in International Relations from California State University Monterey Bay and went back to school to get my masters in Education from Colorado State University. 

I see relationships with my students as paramount to your success. Remember I’m always here to help! I also cannot wait to watch my students learn and grow and use the simple question “why?” to expand their critical thinking and make outside the box connections. 

In my spare time I love to read, cook, and enjoy time with my family.
