STEM Academy

Academy of Engineering Pathway

Students in this pathway combine their knowledge of mathematics and science with invention and design processes in order to identify, analyze and creatively solve problems.  Pathway courses include the foundations of Civil, Mechanical and Architectural Engineering.

  • 3D Solid Modeling (10th grade)

Endorsement Opportunities (10 Credits) 

Successful completion of Intro to Engineering, 3D Modeling, Principles of Engineering, Architectural Design, Physics/AP Physics, and common STEM academy courses (5 credits) along with a 180-hour internship will lead to an Academy of Engineering Endorsement.

Information Technology Pathway

Students in this pathway will develop skills in designing, supporting and managing hardware, software, multimedia, and systems integration.  Students will be prepared to access IT careers at multiple entry points ranging from industry certifications to two-year and four-year degrees.

Endorsement Opportunities (10 Credits) 

Successful completion of Principles of Technology, Computer Programming & Graphic Design, Computer Systems, Webpage Design, Computer Networking, Video Production or AP Computer Science, Information Technology elective, and common STEM academy courses (10 credits) along with a 180 hour internship will lead to an Academy of Information Technology Endorsement.
