Welcome to District 6 Farm to School! Our mission is to enrich the connection our District 6 community has with fresh, healthy food and local food producers by changing food purchasing and education practices.

Our Goals

• Continuously expanding local produce offerings during breakfast, lunch and in Fresh Fruit & Vegetable Program sites
• Integrating locally-raised beef into meals
• Expanding, increasing, and improving school garden, Culinary Classroom, and Colorado Agriculture in the Classroom programs
• Partnering with other Colorado school districts to develop efficient and effective systems to work with local producers
