Secretary of Agriculture Vilsack visits District 6 school
United States Secretary of Agriculture Thomas Vilsack visited Maplewood Elementary School in Greeley-Evans School District 6 today to recognize the work District 6 has accomplished to ensure all students have access to healthy meals and activities, and to announce some new national initiatives aimed at providing greater access to healthy meals for all children.

District 6 & Friends Arts Walk
We invite you to the seventh annual District 6 & Friends Arts Walk celebrating Youth Art Month and Music in our Schools Month. This spectacular event will showcase artwork created by hundreds of students attending District 6 and Charter Schools from Kindergarten through 12th grade and over 50 creative teachers, dance, music, and art!

New principals appointed to lead two D6 high schools
Two seasoned Greeley-Evans School District 6 assistant principals will take the helm of Greeley Central High School and Northridge High School next year after the Board of Education approved the appointments at its business meeting Monday night.

Gator News

Every Thursday in the school year, students have the opportunity to participate in Gator Time. Students can choose between participating in ARTS such as drawing, journaling, jewelry making, painting or SPORTS including soccer, football, volleyball, cornhole games, kickball (basketball in the winter), or BOARD GAMES including connect four, jenga, card games, and other games.
Students who choose not to participate in Gator Time activities will be supervised in a different classroom where they can continue to get work done.
