District 6 open enrollment applications open November 1, 2023
Beginning Wednesday, November 1, Greeley-Evans School District 6 will accept applications for students who want to attend a school that is outside their boundary area. Any parent or guardian interested in enrolling their child in a school outside their home boundary for the 2024-2025 school year must apply during the open enrollment period, which is November 1, 2023, through December 20, 2023. While District 6 is able to accommodate most open enrollment requests, it may not be able to approve requests for enrollment into schools, specific grade levels or special programs that are at or above capacity or cannot fulfill the specific needs of the student.

District 6 closed for the Thanksgiving Holiday
All non-charter schools in Greeley-Evans School District 6 will be closed November 20-24 for the Thanksgiving holiday. All District 6 offices, including the Administration Building, will be closed November 23 and 24 for the Thanksgiving holiday. All schools and District 6 offices will reopen on Monday, November 27.

Central gifted teacher wins lifetime achievement award
Dr. Amy Graefe, a gifted and talented specialist at Greeley Central High School, was given the 2023 Lifetime Achievement Award from the Colorado Association for Gifted and Talented at a special event Monday night.

Gator News

Every Thursday in the school year, students have the opportunity to participate in Gator Time. Students can choose between participating in ARTS such as drawing, journaling, jewelry making, painting or SPORTS including soccer, football, volleyball, cornhole games, kickball (basketball in the winter), or BOARD GAMES including connect four, jenga, card games, and other games.
Students who choose not to participate in Gator Time activities will be supervised in a different classroom where they can continue to get work done.
