Our Commitment to Technology Accessibility

Greeley-Evans School District 6 is committed to inclusion, equity, and access to its programs, services, and activities for all individuals. This includes ensuring that every person has equal access to Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in active use that is procured, developed, maintained, or used by the district.

In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Colorado Revised Statutes §§ 24-85-101 et seq., and the Office of Information Technology's Technology Accessibility Rules (8 CCR 1501-11), the district is actively working toward alignment with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.1, Level AA criteria to provide equal access to information and communication technology for people with disabilities. The district is committed to a timely response to reports of inaccessible ICT or requests for reasonable accommodations or modifications.

  • Brief description of the issue encountered

Additional Documentation Available Upon Request

  • Equivalent Effectiveness Alternative Access Plans (EEAAPs) for software and documents that are inaccessible.
  • Undue Burden/Fundamental Alteration Determinations for vendors where compliance changes or electronic documents posted online would constitute an undue burden or fundamental alteration to district operations.

Accommodation Request Process

To request a reasonable accommodation or modification, please fill out our Accessibility Accommodation Request Form. If you are unable to access the form, please use any of the contact methods listed above.

Response Process: Within a reasonable time after receipt of your issue or request, a member of the District’s Accessibility Remediation Team will contact you to discuss the problem and possible resolutions. After our discussion, we will respond in a format accessible to you with options for resolution.
