Discover District 6 Academy

Discover District 6 Academy is a program that will provide a deeper understanding of Greeley-Evans School District 6, from its operations to instructional practices, by engaging parents and community members in learning and conversations throughout the school year. Upon completion of this program, participants will:
- Have a more clear understanding of the District 6 Strategic Plan, and how it is being implemented district-wide.
- Have an overview of how the district and school daily operations.
- Understand how the district is financed and how money is spent in schools and operations.
- Know about focus areas of the district, understand career and college readiness, know about efforts to improve student achievement at different levels and understand the different opportunities students have to reach their personal goals.
Through this program, District 6 hopes to strengthen relationships across the community, give participants knowledge and understanding they can share, create support and opportunities for students district-wide and enhance public participation in District 6 committees, task forces and elected offices.
Program Summary
Seven, two-hour programs will be held monthly, October through April, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at different sites and schools throughout District 6.Maximum participation will be 25 people.

- February 19, 2026: Greeley West High School, 2401 35th Avenue, Greeley
- March 26, 2026: CTE Center and Jefferson High School, 235 14th Avenue, Greeley
- April 23, 2026: Service Center, Central Kitchen, 2508 4th Avenue, Greeley
