What an awesome privilege it is to be a Christa McAuliffe S.T.E.M. Academy Soaring Silver Falcon!
What a fantastic school year we had! So much great learning and fun took place! I know each of us worked so very hard and now it is time to enjoy summer! Can I get a Woo Hoo!
I want to wish you each a wonderful summer break! Enjoy each day! Do something great for yourself, do something great for someone else, work a little and be active every day. Read several great books, keep a journal of all of your adventures, help cook a meal with your family. Practice your math facts and work on your summer packet. You want to complete your packet and be ready to turn it in at the beginning of the school year. :) It is good and important to work a little and play a little every day!
During the school year, this is a good place to find information about what is happening in our classroom. The 5th Grade webpage is a great resource to find updates and information about current and upcoming events and find copies of homework if you need it. Mrs. McNair, Mrs. Starkey, and I work very closely so that we can provide the best instruction for each student. Every student's success is important to our whole team.
A little bit about myself, I have lived in Greeley for over 20 years and love calling Greeley home. My husband's name is Sean and we have 2 children, our daughter Olivia and our son Travis. I enjoy gardening and spending time with my family, one of our favorite things to do is Friday night movie nights at our house. I love to read and am always looking forward to starting my next great novel. I have my Master's Degree in Teaching Elementary Education from UNC here in Greeley, and consider myself a lifelong learner.
Parents, it is my pleasure to spend each day with your child. I am looking forward to another amazing school year!
Please feel free to contact me with questions, concerns, or even to check in about your student's progress.
~Thank you for visiting! Happy Summer!
