Northridge Drop/Add ProceduresA drop/add form must be obtained from your counselor or program coordinator (if dropping a program course such as MCJROTC, STEM, AP) before beginning this process. Additionally:
- Freshman and Sophomores are required to have 8 classes per semester.
Juniors and Seniors are required to have 7 or 6 classes per semester, respectively
Students on campus during an off block must be in the commons, in the library, or with a staff member.
Off blocks can only be scheduled at the beginning or end of the school day.
Class 11 and up to 6 weeks into the semester: Withdraw (W) will be recorded on transcript for dropped class.
After 6 weeks into the semester: Withdraw-Fail (WF) will be recorded on transcript for dropped class.
Not all schedule change requests will be approved!
