Updated COVID-19 Protocols January 2022
On Monday, January 24, the Board of Education, by a 6-1 vote, passed a motion to make wearing facial masks a personal choice for students and staff in Greeley-Evans School District 6 beginning February 7. Students and staff are still strongly encouraged to wear well-fitting surgical or KN-95 masks to limit the spread of COVID-19, but a face covering will no longer be required in our preschool-eighth grade schools. High schools do not currently have a mask requirement for students and staff..

McAuliffe STEM Academy Open house & tours
The 50,000 square foot addition to McAuliffe is the first major project to be completed that was funded through the 2019 bond issue. It includes a larger gymnasium, new secure front office and entrance, expanded cafeteria, new STEM labs and a new wing of classrooms. This addition means that 16 portable classrooms will be removed from the campus and all students will be learning inside the school.

District 6 graduation rate exceeds state average
The on-time graduation rate for Greeley-Evans School District 6 seniors jumped last year, exceeding the state average by nearly three percentage points. Graduation rates for Colorado school districts were released by the Colorado Department of Education today, and for the fourth year in a row, Greeley-Evans School District 6 has seen an increase in its on-time graduation rates.

D6 in the World Today: Ally Mueller, Class of 2010
Following her high school graduation, Ally went to CU Boulder with the intention of becoming a doctor, but soon realized that her true calling was teaching. She transferred to the University of Northern Colorado where she received a bachelors in History and Secondary Education and a masters degree in Teaching Diverse Learners. After graduating, Ally brought her skills and passion for history to Jefferson High School in Greeley-Evans School District 6.
