  • Colorado National Philanthropy Day Youth Award

    Do you know a student or student group who has demonstrated an outstanding commitment to the promotion of philanthropy and volunteerism through his/her work in the community? Whether it has been recently because of the COVID-19 public health issue, or any time in a student's life, now is the time to nominate them for the Colorado National Philanthropy awards campaign. There is no cost to be nominated and the Outstanding Youth and Youth Group each receive a $3,000 award sponsored by the Daniels Fund.

  • SUMMER FOOD SERVICE PROGRAM

    Greeley-Evans School District 6 Nutrition Services is offering a federally-funded Summer Food Service Program for children. Lunch & Breakfast will be served to any child between the age of 1 and 18 years old free of charge All Summer Long! With new waivers from the government, we will continue to operate the model we used during the COVID-19 school building closures.

  • District 6 School Kickoff event cancelled; sponsors needed

    Due to the outbreak of COVID-19 and health concerns regarding large gatherings, the annual School Kickoff Community Celebration scheduled for August 8, 2020 at Island Grove Regional Park is cancelled. Free backpacks and school supplies will still be distributed through schools this year for students in need. Sponsors who have remained committed to this event and backpack distribution will pay for the backpacks, school supplies, and shipping and distribution costs.

  • District 6 announces plan for delayed graduations

    Due to the outbreak of COVID-19 and State of Colorado Safer at Home order, District 6 has made the decision to postpone graduations in the hope that some of the restrictions on gatherings will have lifted by late July to allow in-person ceremonies. District 6 will continue working with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment and the Weld County Department of Public Health and Environment on guidelines and protocols for these planned ceremonies.
