District 6 Summer Adventures
Ready for a BIG ADVENTURE this summer? Let District 6 be your tour guide!
Join a science safari, learn how to write songs, see what it takes to be a police officer or learn in a classroom that is located in the great outdoors. There is something for everyone in the District 6 Summer Adventures. From STEM to poetry writing, your summer adventure awaits! Space is limited, so sign up for these FREE classes today!
Dates: June 3-27, 2019
TIMES: 7:30am-11:30am
FEES: Free for all District 6 enrolled students
Kindergarten - 8th Grade including charter schools
TRANSPORTATION: District 6 buses will pick up students at the elementary school of their choice selected during registration. Parents have the option to take their child directly to the school site for the adventure program.
LUNCH & BREAKFAST: Breakfast will be served daily in the classroom at 7:30am and lunch will be served in the cafeteria at 11:05pm.
workshops: Classes will be taught by District 6 staff and/or community members.
Students may enroll in multiple summer adventures.
