Calling all 8th-grade students and families! Interested in learning more about the Career Pathway courses offered at each high school prior to open enrollment? Plan to attend District 6’s 8th-grade Career Pathway Expo!
Career and Technical Education Teachers, students, and district staff will be available to answer questions and provide career pathway information to 8th-grade students and their families as they begin to decide which high school they plan to enroll in. Learn more about the Advanced Manufacturing, Agriculture, Business, Construction, Cosmetology, Teacher Prep, Health Science, Hospitality, IT/Cybersecurity, and Welding Pathways!
The event will be held at the NEW District 6 Career and Technical Education Center (1420 2nd St) on November 9, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Post-secondary programming will also be shared with students to create awareness around career academies, concurrent enrollment, PTECH, TREP, and other programming, so students may begin planning for high school classes.
