What are some of your most memorable athletic accomplishments?
My most memorable accomplishment is being a 2 time Regional Champion and placing at State.
What are your goals for this upcoming season?
My goal for the remainder of my season is to place higher than last year at State, and enjoy the time I have left doing what I love.
Note: Michael placed 4th at the 4A State Tournament in the 220 weight class.
What is one lesson you have learned from playing high school sports?
I learned every loss is a learning experience.
What are your career or college plans after you graduate high school?
My plan is to go to college and get my degree in education. I want to be a teacher and one day work for a D6 school.
What is on your Pre-Match Music Playlist?
My playlist is all over the place. It goes from Lil Wayne, Drake, Juice Wrld to Queen and ends with "Fight Song" by Rachel Platten.
What is your go-to Pre-Match food?
My dad always brings me a McDonald's double cheeseburger, fries, and a coke. It's our thing!
