Nutrition Services Food Distribution Service
To better serve the community and practice even greater social distancing, Nutrition Services is changing the way it will be distrusting free breakfast and lunch meals to children ages 1-18.
Beginning Monday, March 30, we will transition into a bus stop delivery method. This means we will no longer be distributing the meals at schools, but rather handing them out at local bus stops.
There will be different stops throughout Greeley and Evans on Monday/Thursday and Tuesday/Friday. A full list of current stops may be seen here: https://www.greeleyschools.org/Page/24038.
District 6 Nutrition Services and the Weld Food Bank will jointly distribute meals Wednesdays from 2-4 p.m. at both the District 6 Services Center at 2508 4th Ave., Greeley and at Northridge High School, 100 71st Ave, Greeley.
All food bags distributed will contain 3 breakfasts and 3 lunches, one per child.
These changes have been made after experiencing a very high demand last week and to provide the meals closer to families’ homes. This will also help to minimize the exposure between the staff and our community. Any additional changes will be communicated immediately.
Please see the attached map for details about where buses will stop with deliveries. Thank you.
