Tell us about your greatest athletic achievement to date:

"My greatest athletic achievement would be breaking 2 school records, last year with a batting average of .596 and this year with 24 RBI's." 

 

What are your goals for this season? 

"My goal is to become a better leader with my team and to invite new people no matter skill level."

 

How do athletics make you a better student?

"They help me to communicate with my teachers in order to keep my grades up."

 

What mental tool do you use when you're under pressure?

"I remind myself to calm down, and I know that I have to keep the energy up in the dugout and keep everybody up and hyped up."

 

What is the best part about competing? 

"The best part would definitely be being loud in the dugout with our chants especially if we have a rally going."

 

What are your career or college plans after you graduate high school?

"I hope to get a full ride to a D1 college on a softball scholarship and study kinesiology to be an athletic trainer and hopefully a coach."

 

What advice do you have for younger athletes who want to join your sport?

"Mistakes are bound to happen so keep your head up and learn from those mistakes and use other people's experience to your advantage. Don't be afraid to ask questions, and in games, lay it all out there and show people what you're worth."

 

What is your favorite song to listen to prior to competing?

"'Middle Child' by J. Cole."

 

What is your go-to Pre-Competition food?

"Pickles or Clif Bars."
