"Winning MVP at the first West vs. Central volleyball game."
What are your goals for this season?
"To make it to regionals in volleyball."
How do athletics make you a better student?
"It keeps me busy and out of trouble."
What mental tool do you use when you're under pressure?
"I usually take deep breaths and just try to focus on the rest of the game."
What is the best part about competing?
"The best part is doing something you wouldn't expect yourself to do, like hitting the ball 10ft line or just something super crazy that you weren't expecting. Or, even just showing off all the hard work you've put in the past years of your life."
What are your career or college plans after you graduate high school?
"I'm planning on playing volleyball for college, studying psychology or kinesiology."
What advice do you have for younger athletes who want to join your sport?
"Go for everything, do everything 120%, and overall, just try your hardest even when you're down."
What is your favorite song to listen to prior to competing?
"'The Way I Are' by Timbaland, Keri Hilson, D.O.E."
What is your go-to Pre-Competition food?
"KIND dipped clusters and Vitamin Water."
