Student Spotlight: Brandy Segovia Rojas, Northridge High School

Welcome to the District 6 Student Spotlight!  In this weekly series, we will highlight an exceptional student and the achievements that are making them successful in their schools.  These students were selected by their school staff and administration for going above and beyond with outstanding grades, work ethic, community service, and school involvement.  Congratulations to these students for the work they are accomplishing in and outside of the classroom.

Career/College Plans:

I plan to attend a 4-year college to get my degree and continue my path into forensic pathology or nursing.

Favorite Subject:

My favorite subject is history because I feel like history is not a subject that is really talked about, and there is so much to it that people should know about. 

Favorite Teacher:

My favorite teacher is Mr. Ekern because, thanks to him, I have been able to succeed in advocating for myself and others to represent my school. 

What Are Some of Your Hobbies:

Going to the mountains, reading, cars, hanging with friends and family. 

Favorite Food or Restaurant:

Pupusas

Personal Goals:

My personal goals are to graduate and walk the stage and move on to college to continue my path. 

The Best Things About My School:

I like how big my support team is! (The staff at Northridge). They are my biggest supporters in every thing that I do and always help me when I feel heavy on stuff.
