District 6 Summer Adventures

Ready for a BIG ADVENTURE this summer? Let District 6 be your tour guide!

Join a science safari, learn how to write songs, see what it takes to be a police officer or learn in a classroom that is located in the great outdoors. There is something for everyone in the District 6 Summer Adventures. From STEM to poetry writing, your summer adventure awaits!  Space is limited, so sign up for these FREE classes today!


Dates: June 3-27, 2019
TIMES: 7:30am-11:30am
FEES: Free for all District 6 enrolled students
Kindergarten - 8th Grade including charter schools
TRANSPORTATION: District 6 buses will pick up students at the elementary school of their choice selected during registration. Please be at the pickup location ON TIME at 7:00am. After lunch, buses will depart the school at 11:30am and deliver student to selected drop off location at 12:00pm. Parents have the option to take their child directly to the school site for the adventure program.
LUNCH & BREAKFAST: Breakfast will be served daily in the classroom at 7:30am and lunch will be served in the cafeteria at 11:05pm.
workshops: Classes will be taught by District 6 staff and/or community members.
Students may enroll in multiple summer adventures.
