District 6 receives awards for financial reporting

Greeley-Evans School District 6 Finance Department has received two prestigious awards for financial reporting.

The Government Finance Officers Association has awarded District 6 a Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting for its Comprehensive Annual Financial Report. The report was judged by an impartial panel, which reported the District 6 CAFR met the high standards set by the organization, including full transparency, clear communication and easy access to information for users.

In addition, the Association of School Business Officials International has awarded District 6 with the Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting, also for the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report. This award is based on excellence in financial transparency and reporting.

“We are proud of our exceptional financial reporting and the diligence our District has exhibited in ensuring all our expenditures are reported publicly and are easy to access,” said Superintendent Dr. Deirdre Pilch.
